I know this post is long overdue but I wanted to dedicate this post to my gorgeous and smart little Maddie for her third birthday!
Madison Grace you are growing up so fast! I can not believe you are 3yrs old. I remember when we brought you home from the hospital we were so excited!! Mommy did not want anyone to hold you :) We took lots of naps together and cuddled a lot. Now you are running all over the place, speaking very well, and being a big helper with your little sister. You love to have special cuddle time with Mommy when you get up from your nap and you always say please and thank you. You have great manners! You know your abc's and all your colors and are learning to memorize your first Bible verse, Philippians 4:13. You love to help Mommy fold laundry and unload the dishwasher. You really enjoy taking walks and riding with sissy in the wagon. You are a very smart and funny little girl and you make Mommy and Daddy laugh everyday! You are a good helper and entertain Mackenzie with funny faces while Mommy is getting her dressed and changing her diaper. You love to go to the library and picking out movies and books after we go to the preschool library time where we sing songs and read stories. You love to read with Mommy and even "read" to sissy all by yourself. You very much enjoy Target and HEB right now and ask to go there almost everyday. You tell me how you would like your hair done in the mornings and what you would like to eat for dinner but are very good at compromising when Mommy can not make hot dogs, pancakes, and spaghetti all for one dinner :) You give lots of hugs and kisses to Mommy, Daddy, Mackenzie, and your doggies Jack and Autumn. You always help Mommy cook dinner and are great at helping make cupcakes! Your dream day would be to go to Target, HEB, the Zoo, and the pool all in one day, at least that is what you told Daddy we did the other day! You love to sing your Sunday school songs with Mommy and we praise Jesus everyday together :)
You are a very smart and beautiful little girl and I am so privileged to be your Mommy! I am so honored that God sent you to me and has trusted me with raising such a wonderful little girl. I am so incredibly thankful to God and to Daddy that I am able to stay at home with you. We are a very blessed family and are so glad that you are part of it! Know that I love you with all my heart more than you can ever imagine and I will always be there for you baby girl! All my love!
Your Mommy :)

Birthday Month Galore
We celebrated Maddie and Mackenzie's birthdays all month long! We had a cake and some neighbors over on Mackenzie's birthday.
We had a birthday party playdate with our playgroup! Maddie helped make cupcakes for all her friends.
Then we had a combined birthday party with my family and the girls friends on July 17th. We had a baby pool set up and a slip n slide and a huge water slide and it rained!! :( Finally after most everyone had left we got to set up the slide and Maddie and her friend Matthew had it all to themselves :)
Then we had another combined birthday party with Ed's family on July 24th. Lots of yummy food and more cake! :-)
Maddie turned 3yrs on July 27th and we had her birthday week! We went to Katy Mills Mall and played, we went to Chuck E Cheese for her birthday dinner with Daddy and Auntie Rose, we went to Inflatable Zone, Memorial City Mall, and last but not least we went to the zoo. She had a great week and Auntie Rose got to be with us all week.
Happy Birthday month my beautiful smart little girls! I am so proud to be your mommy and I can not wait to celebrate all the milestones in your lives!!

Happy 1st Birthday Mackenzie Anne!!
I can not believe my baby girl is already one year old! She is working on keeping her balance and letting go of things. She can clap her hands, blow kisses, say mama, dada, fish, hot, and dog. We celebrated her bday a couple days early in Comfort Texas with her cousin Bella, Auntie Lorrie, and her Poppy. We went to Bear Moon Bakery and got a big blue white and red cupcake and she dug into it. She LOVED the cupcake!
Then the day before her birthday I made a practice cake. The girls are going to have a combined birthday party in a week and Maddie is going to be a princess and Mackenzie will be a lady bug. Here is a pic of my practice cake :)
And last but not least her birthday picture!
Happy 1st Birthday Mackenzie Anne! We love you so so much!!

Busy Busy Busy
It has been a crazy week and it is only Tuesday! Sunday we had church and I worked with the 2yr olds, then came home and did 5 hours of yard work, then back to church for VBS, got home around 9pm and finally got everyone in bed and ourselves in bed around 10pm. Monday I took the girls to Cinco Ranch Water Park with our playgroup ran home for naps then back to church for VBS. Today we went to our friend Greydan's birthday party. Maddie had a blast and did not want to leave. They had a big blow up slide with water on it and you slid into a pool. Girls are napping now, then off to VBS again. "Its funny when I was younger and attending VBS as a kid I always wished it was longer. I thought 4 days was too short! Now being an adult on the other end it is a lot of work. Now I see why it is only 4 days long. Lol. But def worth it!
Mackenzie got her first pedicure today. Maddie wanted all of us to have the same color toes so we all have sparkly pink toes! Here is a pic of my toes, Maddie's toes, and some of Mackenzie's toes :)
Here are a couple pics from Cinco Ranch Water Park on Monday. That place was so cool! We can not wait to go back!
And a pic from today. Maddie was looking all cool with her sunglasses on the way to Greydan's birthday party.

Fathers Day Celebrations
Love the weekend! This week has gone by so fast. Trying to think of what I need to update you all on. :)
Mackenzie got her first pair of shoes this week. She is pulling up on everything and attempted to take 2 steps today. We are going out of town next week so I wanted to make sure we were prepared with shoes in case she decided to start walking. She loves her shoes!
I took Maddie out for a special Mommy Daughter date to go see Toy Story 3 this morning and she loved it! It was the second movie she has ever seen in theaters and she loves that she gets popcorn and candy. Ha ha!
We also celebrated Fathers Day a day early today because we have a crazy busy day tomorrow. Maddie and Mackenzie got Daddy 2 shirts from Target on of which is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and his favorite present, and a gift card to Lowes. Then we took him out to eat at Cracker Barrel which is one of his favorite restaurants. We had so much fun and Maddie and Mackenzie loved playing in the rocking chairs on the porch after dinner.
Tomorrow we have church in the morning run home for lunch and naps and then we start Vacation Bible School. VBS is at Parkway Fellowship June 20-23 5:30-8:30pm. Both girls are signed up and Ed and I are crew leaders for 3rd grade! Its going to be a blast and I can not wait!

Summer Time
I love summer! The pools and splash pads and playing in the front yard! Lol... I am a kid at heart what can I say? :) My sisters Rose (13yrs), Morgan (13yrs), and Brianna (7yrs) all stayed with us for 2 weeks and left for the Hill Country yesterday. We had a great time! Went to the pool, the park, the mall, and other places I can not seem to remember right now. :) Anyway they are lots of fun to hang out with and so much fun to be around! They are a huge help with the girls and Maddie adores her Aunties. We will miss them being here but we are going to join them in the Hill Country next week.
On a different note... We have received a HUGE blessing!! Our wonderful neighbors who are amazing, are going to landscape our entire front yard for free with Ed's help! How awesome is that?!
Our neighbors are so sweet and we are really getting to know them better now that its summer. They recently had a movie night where our neighbors Mark and Debbie bring out their projector and big screen in their front yard and we all bring lawn chairs and watch a movie together. Maddie had a blast and loved it! These are the same neighbors that gave us a bunch of little people toys that their kids outgrew for free and a moonwalk for free. They are so sweet and so giving! I truly thank God for such great neighbors! I am looking forward to being able to help them and give back to them whenever they need it.
Anyway back to the landscaping. I love our home! We had been praying for a new home and putting our finances in order and now in our early 20's God has blessed us with a gorgeous home. I love every part of our home but I love the curb appeal just a little less. We knew it was going to take some work and money, ok, a lot of work and money to get the yard looking presentable. I have been really really wanting to get especially the front yard done so that when people come to our home the outside and the inside are both pretty. So a couple nights ago our neighbors Mark and Steve show up and tell us they want to bless us and do our entire front yard for free. It is going to have gorgeous flower beds and a sitting area with stone and a water feature. I could not believe my ear and still as I am writing this I am in shock! I can not wait! Thank you Lord for blessing us with such awesome neighbors and a front yard that is going to be beautiful! I pray you use us to bless them as they have blessed us!
On a side note Maddie and I were going around the house looking at all the pictures and we passed a picture of Ed and I on our wedding day. She look at the picture and said " Look Mommy your a princess!" How sweet! I love that little girl!

No More Growing Up
I can not believe my baby Mackenzie Anne will be 1yr in 2 weeks. Last year this time I was in the hospital on Magnesium Sulfate praying she would stay in my tummy long enough to be healthy and this year we have a very healthy 25lb little girl. Born on July 4th almost a month early she was delivered at 6lbs 3oz and minus a little road block of jaundice she was healthy. Praise God! Feels like just a couple months ago I gave birth to her and now she is turning 1. How cool that she will always have fireworks on her birthday! She has 6 teeth and is trying to walk all over. She says dada, mama, nana, and fish.
Madison Grace will be 3yrs in about a month!! My first baby is going to be 3 and it is a very bittersweet moment for me. She is such a big girl and loves dressing up, tea parties, painting her nails, and doing mommy's hair. She always wants to help cook dinner and make brownies. The other day she saw an actor on TV and she walked in the room and said "Mommy who is that? He is too cute!" LOL... She is a big helper and loves to play with Mackenzie. She can count to 10 but sometimes skips the number 5 and she can sing her abc's but sometimes it get slurred together around L M N O P.
They are both growing up sooo fast! It is hard for me sometimes so I try to take it a day at a time and enjoy every moment with them. I do not want to miss a thing! I wish I could just pause time to enjoy them being little longer.
This will be the first time we experience two kids having their birthdays in the same month. Not sure how we are going to work birthday parties out yet but I am working on it.
