Papa Turns 89!

Valentines day also happens to be my great grandpas and my girls great great grandpas bday! Papa turned 89! We celebrated by taking them a dinner consisting of salad, lasagna, and garlic bread. We ended with a chocolate birthday cake of course!

Valentines Day 2011

The girls were so excited because we had a party to go to on Valentines day! Maddie made Tinkerbell valentines for her friends and Mackenzie made little puppy dog and kitty cat valentines. Maddie colored on all of her valentines. At the party the girls decorated bags for their valentines and then the kids all exchanged valentines. Here are pics of our day!

Beautiful Day For A Picnic

We went on a picnics one beautiful day in January at Ed's new office. His office is on a beautiful piece of land and there is plenty of room to play and run around.

Christmas Day 2010

The girls woke up to huge stacks of gifts and stockings filled to the rim. Those squeals and little giggles are the best! Here are some pics from Christmas morning!

Poppy came over early Christmas morning so we all celebrated together! Ed, me, Madison, Mackenzie, Poppy, Aunt Lorrie, Uncle Colin, and Bella.

Christmas Eve 2010

Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house not a create was stirring not even... Ok well everyone was sleeping while "Santa" had to start wrapping presents fast! Christmas eve we went to Ed's dads side of the family then came home, put cookies out for Santa and tucked the little ones in bed. Aunt Lorrie, Uncle Colin, and Bella were staying with us.

Afterward "Santa's helpers" started getting the house ready for Christmas morning filling stockings and wrapping presents. Finally around 12pm we were getting ready to go to bed and Maddie threw up all over herself and her bed for the first time. I felt like we joined the parent club of "my kid has thrown up and I had to deal with it." Lol! She woke up just fine the next morning. She just had too much junk to eat at the party the night before. Poor baby!

Christmas Cookies

This year we went all out on our Christmas cookies. We home made them, rolled out the dough, baked them, decorated them, ate some, and left some out for Santa.

Christmas Lights and Smore's

Every year we go to the same house to look at lights. It is spectacular!

Then we went home and made some very yummy smore's. We had a blast!

Our 2010 Gingerbread House

Mommy, Daddy, Madison, Mackenzie, Auntie Rose, her friend Samantha, and  Auntie Brianna had so much fun making this beautiful gingerbread house. Pieces of candy started disappearing off the house day by day :)
