So Tuesday we went to the zoo with the Melear's and the girls had a blast! Maddie said " Mommy lion no bite me please." Madison is so big and is the funniest little girls sometimes. She has just started singing along with KSBJ on the radio and it is so sweet. She never wants her picture taken and she never wants me to record her on the video camera so Mommy is going to have to get creative to get some of this on video. She loves to help Mommy do whatever I am doing at the moment. She loves her little sister Mackenzie. She gives her snuggles with hugs and kisses.
She is also 2yrs old. We have had fun this week but it has been a rough week. Ed and I have talked and agree we need to be more strict with time outs. I need to get a date alone with her and go have some fun without having to stop to feed Mackenzie every 3 hours.
Mackenzie is almost 8 months and she is not crawling just yet. She is the sweetest thing and loves cuddling with Mommy. She loves to smile and says mama and dada constantly. We were sitting at the table Tuesday night after the zoo and Ed looks over and says " Mackenzie looks like she got some sun at the zoo today. Oh, wait, never mind she is just pooping. LOL You know how babies face's get bright red when they poop. Poor Mackenzie!
Ed is doing well. He is being outsourced to a different company right now on top of working for Melton and Melton so he is pretty busy and hitting about 50 hours a week. Not too bad but I know the 65 70 hour weeks are coming and I am so not ready for that.
I am doing ok. My Nana is not doing well health wise and it is stressing me out. She has been there for me through everything and I can not stand to even think about losing her. Then you add being a mom and a wife 24/7 and its just been a hard time lately. I am going through an amazing book called "The Power Of A Praying Wife" by Stormie Omartian. Sally Melear and I get together every Monday morning and talk about the chapter we read that week and pray for each other. I have learned so much and am learning how to be the wife that God has called me to be. Its an amazing journey and I learn new things everyday. For now I am needing a bubble bath, some chocolate, and a good cry/ prayer session with Jesus and I will be good to go!
